Avril has married rocker Chad Kroeger (from Nickelback )! He is nearly old enough to be her dad - The lucky so and so!
They headed to Cannes with around 100 guests on Saturday, marrying in the South of France on Monday at the Chateau La Napoule in Mandelieu.
Avril told Hello! magazine: “I wanted to make sure it's a crazy vacation and an experience of a lifetime for our guests.
“I wanted it to be over the top. I'm obsessed with castles and I love French decor and goth.
“I found this castle in France and we visited it and it was perfect.”
Avril wore a black tulle Monique Lhuillier gown for her second trip down the aisle.
She was previously wed to Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley, but they split up in 2009 after three years of marriage.
Chad – best known for Nickelback hits How You Remind Me and Rockstar – spent six years with former common-law wife Marianne Goriuk before they separated in May 2011.
The couple stunned fans last August when they announced their engagement following a whirlwind romance.
They fell in love while working together on a tune for Avril’s upcoming fifth studio album – the follow-up to her 2011 collection Goodbye Lullaby.
